2.Initial Ideas (by Ben Furby)

For a music video we have choosen to use the song 'The hills' by the artist 'The Weekend', this is a well known song and has a fairly basic music video but its well thought out as it relates to the song. The editing and effects are simple and in a sense not over complicated. This can be very good to recrate but in the style we as a group would want to have the music video represented.

Our first idea we had for the music video was to represent one of 'The Weekends' songs that show a man walking towards a field holding a shovel into preperation to dig a grave, we were going to change this by instead of digging a grave we would still use the shovel but to represent what the person has done or is going to do. For the costumes we were thinking of wearing suits instead of casual clothes, this shows that we have changed to concept of the orginal music video.

Our second idea, the idea we our currently using to do for the music video is to use the song 'The Hills' and a music video similar to it. We are still going to be wering suits for a smart look. The introduction is going to have a phone firstly playing the song and visual seeing this, then after 5-10 seconds it will eventually fade into the music playing aloud and not on the phone. We are going to travel to different places to get shots of different locations and merge them together, to make it look like the person is staying in one position through-out and the background is changing.
